ACEJMC Accreditation Seal

The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications is pleased to provide the ACEJMC-accredited program seal. As a mark of quality, the ACEJMC seal conveys to your current and prospective students, as well as to your communities of interest, a commitment to the highest national standards for journalism and mass communication programs, and a focus on continuous improvement within the program. We encourage you to proudly display your program’s accredited status by utilizing the seal on your program’s website and in program materials.

Use of the ACEJMC Accreditation Seal

To protect the ACEJMC brand, the following guidelines apply to all public representations of the ACEJMC seal.

• The ACEJMC Accreditation Seal is for use by ACEJMC-accredited programs only. Use of the seal by any other entity is not permitted without prior consent from ACEJMC.
• The seal should be displayed at — and representative of — the level of the accredited unit (department, school, college, etc.).
• When used on your accredited unit’s website, the seal must either link to ACEJMC's homepage (www.acejmc.org) or to the list of ACEJMC's accredited programs (www.acejmc.org/accredited-programs).

Guideline: School logos and names should be spaced the same distance from the diving line as the right-most edge of the “D” in accredited.

Clearance

The appropriate area of clearance around the ACEJMC Accreditation Seal must be no less than one-quarter(1/4) the total height.

Dimensions

The ACEJMC Accreditation Seal may be scaled to any size provided the following conditions are met when scaling:

• File format selected is appropriate for usage.

• All proportions must be the same as intended in the file.

• Graphic and fonts are sharp and without pixelation

• Minimum height is 2 inches

Aspect Ratio

The aspect ratio must always be maintained at equal width, height, and diameter.

Alterations

The graphic may not be altered. The individual components that make the seal may not be moved, separated, or altered in any form.
